Ritoo Chowdhury is a dual-trained Endocrinologist and General Physician with a passion for providing thoughtful, thorough and personalised care. She completed her specialist training through Western Health, Canberra Health Services and Monash Health and has worked across several major Melbourne hospitals.

Ritoo welcomes referrals from all aspects of endocrinology and has a special interest in diabetes, osteoporosis, weight management and women’s health (including menopause and PCOS). She takes pride in helping patients understand their conditions and feel confident in their treatment plans. She believes that excellent endocrine care is not just about prescribing the right medication, but about taking the time to listen, educate and support patients through what can often be lifelong conditions.

With her background in general medicine, Ritoo brings a whole-person approach to endocrine care, recognising that hormones affect nearly every system in the body. This allows her to manage complex patients with multiple medical conditions in a coordinated and practical way.
