Claim Rebate
Option 1 — Using the Medicare app (recommended)
1. Download the Express Plus Medicare app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Log in using your myGov details.
3. Tap Make a claim.
4. Choose Medical services.
5. Select Upload receipt.
6. Take a photo or upload a clear image of your invoice.
7. Check that your bank details are correct (this is where your rebate will be paid).
8. Submit your claim.
Your rebate is usually paid into your bank account within a few business days.
Option 2 — Using myGov / Services Australia
1. Go to my.gov.au and log in.
2. Click Services and select Medicare.
3. Choose Make a Medicare claim.
4. Select Medical services.
5. Upload a copy or photo of your invoice.
6. Confirm your bank details.
7. Submit your claim.
